Through accountability and mentorship, we ensure that every member stays committed to their financial goals, supporting one another like a championship team striving for victory.
I'm Shawnte Berry, and I help families navigate financial challenges with confidence, using strategic teamwork to secure a winning future.
Our Story
Opportunities rarely announce themselves. Often, they slip into your life disguised as an everyday moment—a conversation you didn’t expect to have, at a time you weren’t prepared. For me, that moment came unexpectedly while rushing into a store. A brief encounter with a financial broker sparked a journey I never anticipated—a journey toward financial independence and empowerment.
Within a year, my life transformed. I became a part-time independent contractor, acquired my life insurance license, and built a solid personal financial game plan. But more importantly, I discovered a mission beyond my personal goals: to bridge the gap between the financial services industry and the real world of the working middle class.
I realized that financial literacy is not just a personal journey; it's a mission to educate and empower others. Too many hardworking individuals navigate their finances with outdated advice, missing opportunities to build real wealth. I was determined to change that.
I began building a team of mission-driven individuals—family and friends who shared my vision of creating a better future. Together, we formed a social club, a community where working-class individuals and families could come together, share knowledge, and hold each other accountable on the path to financial independence.
Our mission is no longer just mine. It belongs to every family we help, every recruit we train, and every individual who finally sees a path forward. With momentum on our side, we are expanding our reach, determined to make a positive impact in the world.

Building Future Financial LeadersBy joining FIRE Starters, teens gain more than just knowledge—they develop the confidence and skills to take control of their financial future. Our mission is to empower the next generation with the tools they need to break cycles of financial hardship, create wealth, and step into adulthood with a strategic game plan.

Community Outreach
At the FIRE League, we are on a mission to bring financial literacy directly to the people—meeting individuals, families, colleges, schools, trade schools, businesses, organizations, and community groups where they are. Our free educational workshops don’t just teach financial concepts; they transform mindsets and ignite a shift in the way people think about money.
Coaching Core Components
Coaches provide structured financial education, helping members apply financial concepts to their personal finances.
Just as sports coaches develop athletes, FIRE League coaches train individuals in financial fundamentals, using the same principles of discipline, strategy, and execution to build winning financial game plans.
Members who wish to advance can choose to become licensed financial professionals, transitioning into coaching roles as they develop their own teams.
